PROJECT SUMMARY

BIDERA (Intelligent Energy Use Based on Storage and Time) is an R&D&I project that develops a new model for building energy management, aimed not only at generating or saving energy, but at managing it strategically over time. It integrates renewable energy generation, thermal storage and building energy demand into a single intelligent system, using occupancy, energy consumption forecasting and system coordination as the basis for decision-making. Through the use of artificial intelligence, digitalisation, sensing and advanced control, the project aims to develop energy management adapted to the building’s real needs. BIDERA uses the ERAIKEN and CIFP Don Bosco educational centres as prototyping and validation environments, in collaboration with the industrial network, and develops the concept of the adaptive energy building. In this way, it moves from the optimisation of isolated energy systems towards an integrated model capable of coordinating energy generation, storage and consumption over time.s.
